NEW Forester Take Top Honours in Japan

In a triumphant win for the brand’s nameplate, The All-New Forester 2.5 was named Japan Car of the Year 2025-2026. The JCOTY jury praised the Forester for its perfect balance of “driving performance, practicality, and comfort,” highlighting the seamless integration of the Boxer Engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with the brand’s advanced safety technologies.

This new Forester which is priced at RM221,500 (CBU Japan) is powered by a 2.5L FB25 boxer 4-cylinder and paired to a new TR58 Lineartronic CVT that sends power to all wheels via their symmetrical all-wheel drive system.
