Kuala Lumpur: Martell has launched the 2026 edition of the Martell Noblige Swift Talent Quest, inviting DJs across Malaysia to compete for prizes worth up to RM138,000.
The nationwide contest offers a grand prize that includes RM30,000 in cash, Alpha Theta products, a nationwide DJ tour, and a track release with a production course at DJs Playground.
Submissions opened on Aug 1 and will remain open until Sept 6 this year, welcoming both self-taught newcomers and seasoned performers.
First launched in 2023, the platform previously crowned DJ Novern as its 2025 champion following a final showcase at the Martell Noblige Swift Festival.
This year's competition introduces new challenges focused on adaptability, musicality, collaboration, and technical command to test contenders under unpredictable conditions.
Participants will advance through three distinct stages, beginning with the Preliminary Rounds held during the live Martell Noblige Swift Nights events.
Surviving contenders will then move to the Semi-Finals before the remaining finalists battle at the Grand Final during the main Martell Noblige Swift Festival.
Official mentor DJs Playground is returning to support the event, offering a free DJ Battle Course for the first 30 submissions received.
Pernod Ricard Malaysia Head of Marketing Liew Pooi Wan said the challenges are designed to push DJs across genres and out of their comfort zones to set new industry trends.
To enter, applicants must upload a 90-second video set to Instagram with specified event hashtags and complete the online registration form on Martell's website before the Sept 6 deadline.
