Miller’s seminal book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, and is brought to life through an exhibition curated by Miller and The Costume Institute’s Andrew Bolton. It charts the evolution of the Black Dandy—from its 18th-century European origins to today’s contemporary reinterpretations—honouring the power, poetry, and politics of what we wear.
