Sukma organising committee crowdfunds to aid man who lost house to fire

KUALA LUMPUR – The 20th Malaysia Games (Sukma) organising committee today launched a donation campaign to help a Malaysian Armed Forces ambulance driver whose house caught fire yesterday evening.

Ishak Othman was on duty at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil when the fire broke out at his family’s house in Merbok, Kedah.

In a statement, the organising committee shared their “sympathy for Ishak Othman and his family”. 

Organising committee chairman Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan also presented a cheque worth RM5,000 to Ishak.
