Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, graced the Lembing Sakti 2025 Exercise held at the Tanjung Hantu firing range at the Segari Melintang Forest Reserve in Lumut on July 28.
The exercise featured the use of Astros SS-30 and SS-40 missiles by the Rocket Artillery Brigade, along with advanced weapon systems such as the Artillery Saturation Rocket System, High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HiMARS), Artillery Hunting Radar, and several unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). It also showcased strategic cooperation between the Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysian Navy, Royal Malaysian Air Force, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Marine Police, and several other agencies.

Also present were the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, and army chief General Tan Sri Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan.

The main objectives of the exercise were to test the combat readiness and effectiveness of rocket artillery systems, and to enhance inter-agency cooperation in combined land–sea–air operations. The exercise also served as a platform for exposure to the latest tactics and procedures, and included the implementation of Complete Round Proof by the 40th Royal Ordnance Corps Ammunition Engineering Headquarters in collaboration with the Defence Science and Technology Institute.

This initiative was also aligned with efforts to strengthen regional defence cooperation through the involvement of friendly nations to ensure strategic stability and security in the region.
