SHAH ALAM, Dec 25 — The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin expressed their Christmas greetings to all Christians in the state and the country celebrating the occasion.
The Selangor Royal Office said His Royal Highness has expressed the hope that festive celebrations like this will continue to foster mutual respect among communities, tolerance, and strengthen peace, prosperity, and harmony among Malaysia’s multiracial and multi-religious citizens.
“On this occasion, Their Royal Highnesses also reminded road and highway users to drive carefully and responsibly to avoid negligence, especially during this festive season.
“They pray for everyone’s safe journey to their intended destinations,” it said in a Facebook post today.
