Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) described the success achieved by the country in the case involving the claim of the group claiming to be the heirs of Sulu as reflecting the close cooperation between the State Government and the Unity Government at the Federal level in protecting and safeguarding the sovereignty of Sabah.
PBRS President, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup said, recently the Paris Court of Appeal has made a decision in Malaysia’s favour in upholding the decision to reject the enforcement of the Partial Award to the group claiming to be the heirs of Sulu.
He said the decision was in line with international rights and laws and indirectly showed that the group’s claim to be Sulu’s heirs was unfounded.
