Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray has a challenge for loan star Joe Gelhardt.
The youngster arrived from Leeds United on loan last week, but was cup tied for their FA Cup fourth round draw with Fulham on Saturday.
While Mowbray admitted his side are looking to bring Ellis Simms back from Everton, he believes Gelhardt will get a lot of game time.
"I think Leeds looked at the football project as well, and they think putting him in with the other young players at Sunderland and let him go," Mowbray said, per Leeds Live.
"And with the injury to Ross, it looks to me like we have Millwall away next week, get yourself there and we will unleash him on the league and see how he gets on."
