Sunderland have signed PSG winger Edouard Michut and Le Havre teenager Abdoullah Ba.
Michut, 19, joins the Black Cats on a season's loan from Paris St-Germain with an option to buy.
Ba, who is also 19, has signed a five-year deal with the Championship club.
New manager Tony Mowbray has also been given Manchester United winger Amad Diallo, who has joined on a season-long loan.
