Suntoward secures leases from AyalaLand Logistics

SUNTOWARD Tech Philippine Inc., an affiliate of Taiwanese manufacturing firm Sun Toward Tech Enterprise Co. Ltd., will begin production in the Philippines in the first quarter of 2027 after securing warehouse and industrial land leases from AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC).

Suntoward will occupy more than 3,800 square meters of gross leasable space at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga for its initial operations, while securing a long-term lease for an 8,200-square-meter industrial lot at Batangas Technopark in Padre Garcia, Batangas, to support future expansion.

The investment marks Suntoward’s first operational presence in the Philippines, positioning the company to manufacture components for floating solar photovoltaic systems for domestic and international markets.

The company will manufacture, fabricate and assemble high-density polyethylene floats, support structures and mounting hardware using blow and injection molding processes. Its products will include floats, walkway modules and mooring components for renewable energy developers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, and industrial clients.

Suntoward President Jack Wang said the Philippine operations would bring its manufacturing capabilities closer to renewable energy projects in the region.

“This investment allows us to bring our manufacturing capabilities closer to key renewable energy projects in the region. We are confident that this partnership will help us serve our clients better while contributing to local industrial growth,” Wang said.

ALLHC Chief Operating Officer Patrick Avila said Suntoward’s investment would bring clean-energy manufacturing capabilities into the company’s industrial hubs.

“We are proud to support their team as they grow their business and serve renewable energy projects across the region,” Avila said.

ALLHC, a majority owned subsidiary of Ayala Land Inc., said the partnership aims to support local economic development and create jobs in the two regional hubs.

ALogis Mabalacat 1 is located within Pampanga Technopark, with access to the North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, as well as proximity to Clark International Airport. Batangas Technopark, meanwhile, is accessible through the South Luzon Expressway and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road.

ALLHC shares on Friday closed unchanged at P1.14 each.
