SUBANG JAYA, Sept 17 — Approximately 71.8 kg of garbage was collected by the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) and Sunway Resort during a programme to mark World Cleanup Day yesterday.
The council said the garbage cleaning and recycling activities were carried out in and around the Sunway area.
A total of 66 participants consisting of MBSJ and Sunway Resort personnel took part in the programme, themed ‘This Is The Only Home We Have’.
“Some 41.5 kg of rubbish was collected with 30.3kg consisting of recycled goods, for a total of 71.8 kg.
“Congratulations to all those who contributed towards a cleaner, happier and more beautiful city! Subang Jaya stands glorious together,” MBSJ said in a Facebook post.
