- James Holder, co-founder of clothing brand Superdry, has been found guilty of raping a woman in her own home.
- The incident occurred in the early hours of 7 May 2022, after Holder went back to the woman's house uninvited following a night out drinking.
- Holder, 54, had initially fallen asleep on the woman's bed before waking up and beckoning her into the bedroom, where the rape took place.
- He had denied charges of assault by penetration and rape, claiming any sexual activity was consensual, but a jury at Gloucester Crown Court convicted him of rape while acquitting him of assault by penetration.
- The businessman and philanthropist has been remanded into custody ahead of his sentencing, where he could face a significant prison term.
