  • He had denied charges of assault by penetration and rape, claiming any sexual activity was consensual, but a jury at Gloucester Crown Court convicted him of rape while acquitting him of assault by penetration.
  • The businessman and philanthropist has been remanded into custody ahead of his sentencing, where he could face a significant prison term.
