KENINGAU: Schools need strong support from the Parents and Teachers Associations (PTA) in planning for physical, academic and non-academic development to prepare students for the future.
Assistant Minister of Works, Datuk Robert Tawik, said this is the role of a PTA to ensure that the school is safe, clean and to produce cheerful and excellent students.
“The commitment of educators and parents who should cooperate in any programme, focus on future benefits for the students being the driving force for the success and progress of a school,” he said when officiating a pre-school appreciation programme at the primary school level for Apin-Apin zone, here, on Wednesday.
Robert, who is also Bingkor Assemblyman, called on parents to always ensure that their children receive a proper education and taking note of their children’s performance in school.
