Suspected drug dealers aged 89 and 73 arrested in house full of cocaine, marijuana and firearms

A Miami drug bust at a house filled with cocaine, marijuana, and guns ended with two senior citizens facing charges for drug dealing.

The sting occurred on Wednesday and followed an August undercover operation targeting the men, according to arrest reports.

An undercover agent allegedly purchased a $60 bag of cocaine from Magdaleno Medina, 73, on August 19 at his trailer in Miami. At 3 pm on Wednesday, police — including a SWAT team — raided the home, according to an arrest report.

The officers reported finding a total of 141 grams of cocaine in multiple small plastic bags, 1,278 grams of marijuana, which was also stored in small bags, a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver and a Sig R365 .9mm handgun, as well as ammunition for both weapons, according to The Miami Herald.

Police said the revolver had been reported stolen from another county, and that the .9mm had been reported in Doral.

Magdaleno and Cesar Valdes, 89, were arrested at the house. Both were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on charges that include armed cocaine trafficking and grand theft of a firearm.

Both of the men were born in Cuba and are being detained on an immigration hold, according to jail records.

The men are being represented by Miami-Dade County's Public Defender's Office, according to the paper.
