  • More than 1,000 homes in Plymouth have been evacuated following the discovery of a suspected World War Two device at a building site.
  • A 400-metre cordon has been established in the Southway area of the city, leading to school closures and residents being advised to leave.
  • Royal Navy unexploded ordnance specialists have been working through the night to assess the device and plan its safe removal.
