Sporting director Fabio Paratici has launched an appeal against FIFA's decision to make his 30-month ban applicable worldwide.
Tottenham recently announced that Paratici was stepping down from his role as the club's sporting director indefinitely as a result of the extended suspension.
The ban, which was issued by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), initially only applied to Italy, but at the end of March it was extended to the whole world.
Specifically, the suspension means Paratici is unable to carry out his work as sporting director at Tottenham.
But now the 50-year-old Italian has reportedly appealed FIFA's decision.
