Bandai Namco Filmworks and Netflix have just released further details on the upcoming live-action Gundam movie, and we now know that it will star Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo.
Sweeney, known for her work in The Housemaid and Euphoria, and Centineo, known for his roles in Street Fighter and Warfare, have touched down in Queensland, Australia, to begin production, with Jim Mickle (Sweet Tooth, Cold in July) directing the film.

With awe-inspiring battles, intimate human emotion, and an epic cinematic scale, this is Gundam like it’s been seen before,” reads a description of the film.
