Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed his involvement in talks regarding contract renewals for existing players.
The Blues are in the midst of finalising their squad for the new season.
They are also involved in talks with several players who they want to tie down for the foreseeable future.
Among those players are Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who are expected to sign new contracts in the coming weeks.
New boss Lampard has admitted he is a big part of deciding who is awarded a new deal.
"I'm working very closely with Marina [Granovskaia, Chelsea director] and the board because these are two players that we want to stay for sure," Lampard said to the club's official website about Willian and Hudson-Odoi.
