Former Chelsea fullback Glen Johnson has revealed his son is with the club's academy.
Johnson has praised Chelsea's academy setup and says assistant manager Jody Morris, who used to coach the youth teams, still plays an active role.
Talking about Jody Morris, my young one is in the Chelsea academy and we see Jody Morris over there, it's under-8s," Johnson said.
"So you can that they're, don't get me wrong them boys are well off the timeline, but they are looking through all the age groups and they're building bridges up to the first team.
Whereas normally, nowadays the first team is miles away from the academy and half the lads there will never get an opportunity."
