Crystal Palace midfielder Max Meyer was happy with their 5-0 rout of Bristol City.
Meyer impressed in the friendly win.
Despite joining last summer, this is Meyer's first full pre-season with the club, and it is something that the former Schalke midfielder is benefitting from.
He told the club's website: Much, much better; I remember I signed it was just one week before the first game, it was difficult for me because I didn't know anyone here. But now it is better for me to have a whole pre-season, it is good for my fitness.
This is my second year, I am used to the Premier League and I hope I can do better this season."
