Kota Kinabalu: Some 3,748 Sabahan students have received their Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 tablets under Phase 1 of the “PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia” (Malaysian Family Student Device) package.
Recipients were from 5,565 higher learning applicants from the B40 group while the remaining 1,817 are still under review.
Disclosing this, Minister of Higher Education Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad said applications for Phase 2 has begun with the deadline being Sept. 30.
