
Kota Kinabalu: Tabs Safa Bandaraya Under-10 and Under-12 teams emerged champions in the second series of the Suparimau League 2023 which ended at the Likas synthetic field on Saturday.
They lifted the Under-12 title with an unbeaten record by collecting 16 points from five wins and one draw.
In second place were SK Likas with 13 points followed by DF Sabah with four points in third.
Their Under-10 squad also stayed unbeaten throughout the competition to take the crown with a total of 16 points from five wins and one draw as well.

“The players proved that with sheer hard work and determination, they will be able to overcome obstacles to achieve success.
“However, they are still young and need guidance from the coaches.
My hope is that all these players will continue to improve their game so that they can go further in football,” he said.
He also called on the parents to continue their support of their children which plays an important part in their development as a player.
Meanwhile, he congratulated some of the Tabs Safa Bandaraya players selected to represent their respective schools in the upcoming MSSD (Districts Schools Sports Council) football tournament.
