
Kota Kinabalu: A 48-year-old executive of Lembaga Tabung Haji was discharged and acquitted from a charge of falsifying a document which stated the cash balance of the office amounting to RM590,188.05.
Sessions Court Judge Ellyne Nerrisa freed Suzelah Maidin from the charge without her defence being called.
In her ruling, read by Sessions Court Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim, Ellyne said the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against Suzelah.
Suzelah was accused of falsifying the document which was an information of Peti Besi Lembaga Tabung Haji Pusat which stated the balance of cash belonging to the office.

The offence is framed under Section 468 of the Penal Code.
The prosecution had called three witnesses during the hearing.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Afiqah Alya prosecuted while counsel Datuk Haji Ansari Abdullah defended Suzelah.
