Tabung Haji (TH) has temporarily suspended its services to depositors after detecting suspicious cyber activity on its systems on 7 October 2026. In a statement, the pilgrimage fund said the suspension is a precautionary measure while it carries out a full check of all its systems.

According to TH, the move is necessary to protect depositors’ interests and ensure its systems remain secure. The fund is also working closely with the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and CyberSecurity Malaysia to deal with the matter.

More importantly for depositors, TH stressed that their savings and personal data remain safe and protected. The fund also apologised for the disruption, adding that the security of depositors’ savings and information is always its top priority.

That said, TH didn’t specify which services have been affected, nor did it give a timeline on when they will be back up and running. It also hasn’t shared what kind of cyber activity was detected. In the meantime, depositors with any questions can reach the TH Contact Centre at 03-6207 1919.
