THE Taguig City Police Station (TCPS) on Sunday said that it has arrested all persons listed in its Top 10 Most Wanted for this January, reinforcing the city’s focus on peace and order.
The arrests involved the service of warrants for statutory rape, other crimes against persons and violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, including illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
TCPS chief Col. Julius Añonuevo said their arrest reflected disciplined police work — from careful case buildup and warrant validation to focused manhunt operations — supported by close coordination with the courts and timely information from the community.
“These January results show what consistent, intelligence-driven policing can achieve. Our personnel remain focused on enforcing the law fairly and protecting our communities, in coordination with our partner units and with the support of the public,” he said.
Añonuevo said they will sustain these efforts beyond January, continuing proactive operations and strengthening partnerships with communities to ensure safety in all barangay.
He also added that residents may report concerns or share information through official police channels, including the 9-1-1 emergency line or TCPS hotlines 0998-598-7932 and 8642-3582.
Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano said that maintaining peace and order is essential to the city’s long-term vision.
“Peace and order support our goal of building a Transformative, Lively and Caring City. When our communities are safe, services move more efficiently, opportunities grow and families can live with confidence. We commend our police officers for their dedication to keeping Taguig secure,” she added.
