In a move that has left social media users both envious and stunned, popular Taiwanese YouTuber and entrepreneur Li Ke Tai Tai (Evelyn Chen) recently revealed that she allowed her employees to decide their own year-end bonuses this year.

During a press conference on February 10, 2026, for her healthcare brand “Hao Hao Biotech,” the influencer-turned-CEO shared the unconventional HR strategy.

When asked about her company’s performance, she noted that revenue has been doubling annually, largely thanks to a successful collaboration with Super Junior’s Yesung.

‘If you dare to write it, I’ll pay it’

According to Yahoo! News Taiwan, to reward the hard work of her 15-person team, Li Ke Tai Tai decided to skip the traditional performance review metrics. Instead, she handed the power to the employees themselves.

I let them fill in the numbers personally,” she told reporters. “Whatever amount they wrote down, that is what I paid out.”

When journalists asked if anyone had the guts to request more than NT$100,000 (approx. RM12,500), she nodded immediately, stating she wasn’t shocked at all and felt the rewards were well-deserved.

UDN Taiwan reported that the total bonus payout reportedly exceeded several million Taiwan dollars.

A strategy rooted in growth

The “boss of the year” gesture comes on the heels of a massive marketing win.

By providing over 100,000 units of product for fan support during Super Junior’s concerts in Taiwan, her brand saw a dramatic surge in visibility and sales.

The news has gone viral across Taiwanese platforms like Dcard and PTT, with many users jokingly asking where they can send their resumes.

“Is there any vacancy?” one user commented, while another noted, “This only works if you have a team that isn’t greedy and a boss that is truly generous.”

While she continues to deal with ongoing personal legal matters in court, it’s clear that in the realm of business, Li Ke Tai Tai is focused on keeping her “work family” very happy.
