AUTHORITIES are investigating the death of a 63-year-old Taiwanese man who was fatally struck by a Light Rail Transit (LRT) train after reportedly falling onto the tracks at the Pusat Bandar Puchong station in Selangor.
According to Serdang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad, initial investigations confirmed that the man entered Malaysia on 31 May.
“Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage shows the victim walking alone before falling onto the tracks,” said Farid in a statement issued on Wednesday. “Police are in the process of contacting the victim’s family through the Taiwanese embassy.”
