It appears that Pasir Salak MP Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has been dropped as the ambassador to Indonesia, considering his name is allegedly no longer on the list of those receiving diplomatic appointment letters from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

But a source is now saying otherwise.

Utusan Malaysia has since shared that the acceptance of Tajuddin’s letter has been postponed to another period, adding that the source immediately rejected the allegation that he was dropped.

“Not dropped, just postponed,” the source briefly said.

The position of Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia has been vacant since Zainal Abidin Bakar, who was appointed on March 21, 2019, had retired in April 2021.

Tajuddin, on the other hand, had previously joined the official delegation during Prime Minister Ismail Sabri’s working visit to Indonesia to meet with President Jokowi in November 2021.
