Takefusa Kubo is delighted with his current form at Real Sociedad.
The Japan international left Real Madrid for La Real over the summer, signing a deal to 2027.
"I can't explain very well what is happening to me either," smiled Kubo. "In the hotels where I stayed in preseason I thought I had no other choice, that this could be my last chance to make that leap as a footballer.
"I think I'm living up to what people expect of me."
Fans are now chanting his name and the 21 year-old also said: "I liked it a lot and it gives me a lot of confidence. Football is entertainment and the fans are the ones who give their opinion, the one who pays the ticket."
