TAMBUNAN: There are two types of rice in Malaysia, wet paddy which is also known as bendang rice and huma or hill paddy.
Wet paddy is the most widely planted type as it can produce high yields.
Rice field requires a lot of water and fertiliser and needs to be planted in an orderly manner.
