PENSIANGAN: Three Tamu Desa premises will be built this year in the Pensiangan parliamentary constituency, covering Tulid, Sook, and Nabawan, said Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.
He noted that three similar facilities were completed last year under the Madani Government through his Ministry, including two in Sook and one in Nabawan.
During a working visit to Tulid and Sook, he approved RM200,000 to build a more organised and comfortable Tamu Desa in Kampung Pulutan, replacing the current entrepreneur-built stalls.
Ewon also inspected a roadside tamu in Kampung Kabatang Baru, Tulid, and agreed with local leaders on a safer and more suitable site for a new marketplace.
He made these remarks during a Hari Raya celebration here on Saturday.
