
Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau brushed aside rumours swirling on social media that he had died.
“I am very much alive and well,” he said.
“I hope the person who started spreading this fake news repents,” said Tangau, adding he received many phone calls and messages from family and friends when the rumours started its round on WhatsApp on Saturday.
“I am 65 and still healthy. May God give me more years to live,” he said.

He also said it was unnecessary to get the police involved and just wanted the incident to die down.
