- The panel will push for “maximum transparency” from the government about UFOs, chairwoman Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna said.
- It follows a previous House Oversight subcommittee hearing where witnesses alleged the government withheld information on documented UFO cases.
- While UAP discussions often involve aliens, the increasing prevalence of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles means that many sightings could have conventional explanations.
