
Kota Kinabalu: The first Tawau International Light Fest 2024 being organised by Kelab Pemuda Taman Fajar will be held on Feb 1 this year.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew has been invited to grace the inaugural event at 7pm at Wisma Fuji Open Space Tawau.
Briefing her during a recent courtesy call, Organising Chairman Philip Yap Wui Lip said the fest will run in Sri Tanjong on Feb 1-8.
It aims to showcase Tawau’s cultural heritage ranging from traditional musical performances to local cuisine and lantern-making craftsmanship.
