TAWAU: The first Tawau Matsuri [a.k.a. Japanese festival] will be held on Dec 3-4 at the Kam Ling Seafood Restaurant car park at Kubota Square from 9am until 6pm. Entrance is free.
Organising Chairman Hiro Chai said the Tawau Matsuri is supported by the Japanese Embassy, Sabah Tourism Board and Malaysian and Japanese companies.
The objective is to promote exchange of culture, tourism, language, technology, investment and food between Japan and Sabah.
