TAWAU: The contest for the Tawau parliamentary seat this time may see most number with up to nine believed eager to try their luck on Nomination Day Nov 5.
They include Datuk Najib Tay Abdullah (Bersatu), Lo Su Fui (PBS), Datuk Christina Liew (PKR), Fung Thin Yein (PKR), Datuk Chin Chee Syn, Datuk Kong Hong Ming, K.C. Chen and Vivien Thien. The latter few are from Warisan and three are lawyers.
Incumbent Liew’s victory the last time was believed largely due to Warisan support.
