
Two people were injured after a double-cab vehicle lost control and crashed into a parked lorry near Sungai Burong in the early hours of Tuesday.
The Tawau Fire and Rescue Department received the call at 1.37am and arrived at the scene, about 44 kilometres away, at 2.16am.
Both victims, a 55-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters using specialised tools.

The woman, who suffered a broken left leg and internal injuries, was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
