TAWAU: A 43-year-old local woman has been arrested for allegedly injuring a 10-year-old boy with a knife in an incident at Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Batu 8, Jalan Apas, on Thursday.
The incident came to light when the boy’s aunt, also 43, was alerted by her mother-in-law at around 6.10pm, who reported that the child’s hand was covered in blood.
AdvertisementThe victim sustained a wound on his left hand while trying to fend off the attack but is in stable condition after receiving treatment at Tawau Hospital.
Police arrested the suspect at 3.30pm on Friday in the housing area.
