Kota Kinabalu: The provincial government of Tawi-Tawi spearheaded by Governor Yshmail “Mang” Sali has extended an invitation to all Malaysians, including its kebabayans (countrymen) in Sabah, to attend its Provincial Day celebration next month.
Turtle Islands (Taganak) Mayor Mohd Faizal Jamalul said the weeklong affair would start on Sept 20.
Faizal said the municipality of Simunul, which is the birthplace of Islam in the Philippines, would play host in this year’s celebration dubbed “Kamahardikaan Festival 2022.”
