A teacher has explained why she tells parents not to send their children with cupcakes to school on their birthday.
Ann Brackemyer, who posts on TikTok under the username @kbcrayons, says that she loves celebrating birthdays in her classroom but is opposed to certain types of food being brought in.
Explaining that she knew her opinion would be unpopular, she justified her preferences by saying cupcakes make a "ginormous mess and the kids honestly don't eat them that great," before demonstrating alternative options she likes parents to go for.
