- A kindergarten teacher has been shot and killed inside a school building in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.
- All 44 students and three other teachers inside the Nongplalai Municipal Kindergarten were safely evacuated without injury following the shooting at around 11am on Wednesday.
- The shooter, who is believed to be the victim's husband, fled the scene – his accommodation was surrounded by police, officials said.
- Chonburi Governor Narit Niramaiwong has ordered the closure of the school and deployed mental health experts to support the children and staff.
