
KENINGAU: Team SF comprising Mohd Affendy Tan Abdullah and his two sons captured the Sabah Closed Triples Lawn Bowls tournament concluded at the Keningau Lawn Bowl Arena on Sunday.
The former international with Afif Aiman and Hafiz Firdaus defeated team JBC A’s Lakeri @ Lawrence Eging, Nurdin Sabli and Zulkarnain Awang Besar 14-12 in the final.
They took home RM2,600 cash prize and the runners-up received RM1,400, while Kinabalu Bowls B (Nuruhafizah Abd Hanafi, Muhd Abdul Rahman and Nur Zarifah Wajihan Zaidi) and L One (Ezequiell Junaidh @ Junaidih, Abdul Manap Saujor and Junaidih Malintau) in joint third place each received RM600.
A total of 20 teams participated in the two-day tournament.
