SANDAKAN: Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is no longer a second choice but has become the main path to higher education in the country.

Mohd Walid, said this is proven through the government’s determination to realise the national TVET agenda on par with other developed countries such as Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea, China and Singapore.

He explained that, based on that commitment, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also launched the National TVET Policy by setting five main thrusts, on June 8.
