KOTA KINABALU: An 18-year-old was charged with raping an underaged girl.
The teenager pleaded guilty before Sessions Court Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim.
However, his sentencing was deferred to May 23 pending his social report.
He is accused of raping the 15-year-old girl at 12.47am on Jan 6 at a multipurpose hall in Sipitang.

The court ordered the teenager to be remanded further. Deputy Public Prosecutor Atiqa Nazihah Azmi appeared for the prosecution while the teenager was not represented.
