TAWAU: A 14-year-old boy has been detained after the half-naked body of a 15-year-old girl was found in a drain at a palm plantation in Kalabakan, Wednesday.
District police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said initial physical investigations found several injuries on the girl’s body such as a tear on the left side of her head believed to have been caused by a hard object.
He also said, both the suspect and the victim were children of foreign plantation workers who live in the same area.
