
Kota Kinabalu: An 18-year-old driver sustained facial and chest injuries after his Perodua Myvi veered off the road and crashed into a tree along Jalan Tuaran Bypass near the BMW showroom, here, Thursday.
The 5am accident is believed to have happened when the victim, who was travelling from Likas towards Inanam, lost control of his vehicle.
The impact caused the car to hit a road divider before slamming into a tree on the opposite side of the road.

He was then rushed to the hospital for treatment.
