A 17-year-old girl from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Sook was trapped when her leg got stuck in a drain cover.
According to the Sabah Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Centre (PGO) Officer, the department received a call around 4:47 PM on Tuesday.
The team arrived at the scene, located 2 km away, at 4:49 PM. Using hydraulic power tools, the firemen cut the metal to release the girl. She was then handed over to her family.
