RANAU: The construction of a RM150,000 suspension bridge in Kg Mohimboyon as a temporary replacement for the concrete bridge that was swept away by strong currents, recently, had been completed.
Construction began at the site of the destroyed concrete bridge linking Kg Mohimboyon and Kg Lapintai on Jan 9, by the Malaysian Army (ATM) Lokawi.
The suspension bridge acts as a temporary crossing for villagers as well as school children that is safer and sturdier than the makeshift bamboo crossing that they built previously.
