If you're a tempura enthusiast, you simply cannot miss out on experiencing the exquisite dish crafted by the talented chef at Tatsu Japanese Restaurant, situated on the first floor of the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
This past week, we stumbled upon Tatsu during our lunch break, which was unfortunately quite short due to back-to-back meetings.
Since Intercontinental was the most convenient option, we decided to explore what it had to offer. As the café downstairs was bustling with executives from the neighbourhood, we were courteously directed to Tatsu on the first floor.
Known for its impeccable omakase dining experience, Tatsu is derived from "Tatsujin," which translates to "master." The restaurant has earned well-deserved acclaim and is under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Tommy Kuan, a true master of fine Japanese cuisine. Despite our time constraints, the single dish he prepared for us left an indelible mark, and we found ourselves yearning for more.

Although our time was limited, we managed to relish one dish from their tantalizing menu, and my choice was the tempura. Upon its arrival, I was taken aback by the artistry displayed in the elaborate presentation of the tempura. It looked almost too beautiful to eat. Captivated by its allure, I couldn't resist capturing three photographs, which I am delighted to share with you. I leave it to your discerning judgment to decide whether it meets your expectations.
