
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has allocated 10 acres of land near Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) for the future construction of the Sabah Heart Institute.
Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk James Ratib said that the RM80 million allocation recently announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be used to upgrade the existing heart centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital II (QEH II).
He said this during a question-and-answer session at the State Assembly sitting, here, on Tuesday.
